STAR Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the governing body of the South Tahoe Association of REALTORS®. The Board of Directors makes the decisions and sets policy. The South Tahoe Association of REALTORS®,
Inc. owns and operates its own Multiple Listing Service (MLS). It is regulated by rules established by its MLS Committee and ultimately approved by the Board of Directors.
The association holds annual elections to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors each year. If you have an interest in serving and getting involved, please let us know! You may contact
anyone currently on the Board, or reach out to association staff.
Board Meetings
South Tahoe Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors meetings are typically held on the third Wednesday of each month. STAR holds “green” Board meetings. This means that we
do not provide agendas, minutes and documents pertaining to items for discussion and vote in a hard copy paper format for Directors to read and refer to at the meetings. Instead, we provide
materials in digital format, and ask that Directors review them prior to the meeting. They may print any documents they’d prefer to have with them at the meeting, or bring a laptop to
view them online.
Directors will be provided with Board meeting packets in electronic format in advance of each meeting, either by email, or via a password protected page on this website.
